Michigan COVID-19 Grant Ends August 7

At Keen Technical Solutions, we’ve done what a lot of businesses have done. We’ve redirected our focus and energy to tackle one of the biggest challenges the world has seen in decades. We all play a role in the fight against coronavirus, and we are all-in to do our part. As we’ve seen for months know, information is so important in making effective, decisive action to protect our employees and their families. Here in our home state of Michigan, too few organizations know about one of the very important grants available to businesses looking to restart safely. The state of Michigan and the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration have released funds to help employers implement equipment to meet new demands to reduce the risk posed to their teams. The Michigan COVID-19 Safety Grant Program offers matching funds of up to $10,000 to purchase and install equipment designed to reduce the spread of COVID-19. There is a long list of approved equipment, including masks and other Personal Protection Equipment articles, shields and screens, handwashing stations and disinfecting equipment, and more. We’ve worked with businesses to facilitate all of these safety measures, but we can off more. Dozens of businesses have used the Safety Grant Program to implement Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization equipment, a technology that’s been proven to kill 99% of airborne pathogens, including the novel coronavirus. The grant program is open to all small businesses with 250 employees or less, but leaders will have to move fast. The deadline to apply is August 7. It may be a troubling thought, but the challenges we’ve faced may only be the beginning. Now is the time to take advantage of every tool and resource to ensure a safe, lasting reopening for your business to care for the people who keep the doors open. To learn more, contact Keen Technical Solutions. We’ll help you through the grant application and assess your business’ air purification needs.
